On-Site Service - At BalconesPC, we can come out to your home or office to help you with almost any problem.  Often, we can be out to you on the same day you call!  Our Field Techs are experienced, efficient, and very friendly.  We invite our customers to be as involved as they like in the process, so you can learn all our tips and techniques for your own benefit.  Here's a list of some of the services we can provide; if you need something not listed, just call and ask for it!

• Hardware and Software Troubleshooting for all brands of retail Desktops and Laptops, as well as custom built machines.
• Spyware, Virus, and Adware removal.  Are popups killing your browser and slowing your internet to a crawl?  We can fix it.  We can detect and remove keyloggers also.  Don't let your personal information get out of your control.
• General Cleanup.  We can make sure your system has the latest drivers, updates, and security tools.  We can also make sure you aren't running extra programs that can slow your machine down.
• New System Setup and Data Transfer.  If you need to transfer documents, pictures, emails, contacts, or any other kind of data to your new computer, let us know.  We can get you up and running on the new computer so you don't miss a beat.
• Highspeed and Dialup Internet Setup and Troubleshooting. If you're tired of talking to their tech support, we can help.  Roadrunner, SBC, AT&T, Earthlink, AOL, you name it.  We've seen it all, and can help get you back up and running.
• Hardware Repairs and Upgrades.  We can tell you what parts to get to most improve your computing experience. 
• Wired and Wireless Network Setup and Repair.  Low signal?  No Signal?  Big House?  Worried about Wireless security?  No problem, we can take care of it all.
• Upgrade Consultations.  Before you spend thousands of dollars on equipment you aren't sure about, give us a call.  We can take stock of your situation and figure out the best bang for your buck. 
• File and Printer Sharing.  Take full advantage of your home network, and get your computers talking to each other reliably.
• Operating System Upgrades.  You want your computer to have the latest security updates that are availble.  We can make sure you are up to date.  We can also get you up and running on Windows XP, and soon Windows Vista!
• Backups.  Everyone has important data.  Hard drives can fail.  Don't let your data be destroyed.  We can recommend a backup solution that fits your needs.

In-shop Service - We also offer all of the above services and even more if you'd like to drop your PC off.  Most drop-off jobs will be done within 24 hours, and sometimes even the same day!  We can also come pick up your machine and deliver it back to you for a small fee.  Some of the extra things we can do on our tech bench are:

• Clean your PC.  We can get rid of dangerous dust buildups BEFORE they cause a problem.
• Silence your noisy Desktop PC.  We can replace noisy fans with silent parts that provide even better cooling.
• Custom Built Desktops to YOUR specifications!  Bring your own parts or let us order you a state of the art System.
• Barebones Upgrades.  We'll take the best parts of your current system and use them to make a brand new PC to meet your needs.
• Data Recovery.  Think you've lost everything?  Think again!  In many cases we can recover much of your data.  (additional charges may apply)

Monthly Maintenance Contracts - Ever wish you could detect potential problems with your workstations, network, and servers BEFORE they go down and cause you to lose time and money?  Now you can!  Sign up for a monthly service contract with us, and we'll have a tech out to you several times a month to take care of all your needs.  You'll receive a discount on our hourly rate depending on how much you pre-pay for.  We will also send you the same tech, if available, so it will be like having your own personal IT staff without the big expense.
